About Scott R. Schatzle, CFP®
I got into this business in 2003 because I felt the industry was too opaque. Financial planning and investing are a passion of mine. I found many financial advisors act as if they are the Wizard of Oz – working behind a curtain and telling investors to trust them. I have removed the curtain.
My work is completely transparent. People don’t need to trust me, they simply need to trust the process and plan – which they are a part of developing. I have found this empowers clients to make better financial decisions and be more confident in their financial future.
When I am not working, I enjoy exercising, fishing, attending church and spending time with my family. My family consists of my wife, Kelly, and our two daughters, Riley and Caitlin.
Professionally, I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and founder of Mutual Trust Advisory Group.I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Management from Florida International University and served as an instructor for the CFP® educational certificate program at Boston University.
